Is it not so often the way that we appreciate how much we love something only after we have given it away.
That said, having viewed your paintings and photographs on-line at a friends recommendation, I am sure you can produce another equally enchanting piece.
Well I am sure in the unlikely event you became unable to reproduce the standard, the new owner may be persuaded to return it. Besides, if not, it is the pictures in your mind which can neither be given or taken away.
At least you have the talent to reproduce for others to share, I'm afraid my own abilities with a brush or pencil could not produce even a single comparable piece.
I don't imagine the new owner will return it. I guess you'll just have to put up with waking to the real thing every morning. Not everyone is so lucky! Plus just when we think your work can't get any better, we're proved wrong, it seems your talent increases with every brush stroke.

The one that got away hey...... Life's full of them. At least you've still got the real thing to go home to.....
Can't argue with that.
oh, yes, I know what you mean...most of my art is gone forever...given away.
At least someone enjoys, Sam. It is a very beautiful sketch...
I'm told the guy who was given it loves it.!

Hello Gerald. Thanks for your visit, as you say, we don't know what we've got 'till it's gone.
Sometimes I get the fear though....what if that was the last REALLY good one ?
