solitude

Continuing on the beach theme, there should be a word for that feeling of early morning immersion in a given view or landscape.

When I'm out and about early on days like this, I always vow to get up every day before dawn. The vow never makes it past the next time I'm overserved, but I suppose it's the thought that counts.

This is early right? Sort of half 5 early? Or even before that?

Yes, about 6.45. No one but me down there. (Not surprisingly!)

That should have read 5.45, but I'm photoshopping and my brain has turned to cottage cheese !

Once again you have captured beautiful Norfolk looking its best. Sunshine has been in short supply recently so well done for taking photographic evidence of an all too rare sight!

Makes us want to move there mate!......I enjoy the early mornings, but never get to see a site as beautiful as this. Think i need a transfer to the coast!

The only time I can be reasonably certain to get the sunshine is very early in the day.

I think you should put in for one TT.

Hello lamb chop. What exactly do you mean ? You are not a regular on this site ?? I'm very hurt.

And that was Tom I think....but he meant scenery I'm sure !!

Don't think there is much planned for the weekend. Hope to get on the beach with the old body board, maybe a picnic ?

Going to London with Sapphire on Saturday for a trip to the theatre. Seeing Harry Potter Sunday from 4pm but could possibly do am?

It's Sapphire's birthday - sorry should have added that in!

Apparently it's going to be 23 degrees and cloudy on Sunday. Perfect boarding weather! However, Tom may have made alternative plans so will check with him. If Sunday is tricky you could come to see Harry Potter or we could do a picnic on the beach with the boards one evening next week? signing out in five so text to confirm?

Sorry to intrude on your conversations once again. However had to comment.

What a fantastic view so beautifully captured.

Perhaps if we were all able to view this degree of beauty each morning our tempers throughout the day would be more relaxed.

But 0545 is a little early for me I must confess.

Well GW, thanks for being so complimentary.

I was awake anyway, and the sunlight coming through the window was calling to me.

Renie, Sunday a.m. is no problem, or maybe end of school picnic for the kids on Thurs eve ?

Both then!
Don't forget the boards and your camera for when the sun goes down!

..............if it isn't raining

The only thing that calls to me at that time of the morning is my daughter.

Also not lucky enough to live quite so close to the beach.
