All work and no.........
you know what..........
Mustn't grumble, lots of work, even a new commission, so I hope you'll forgive my lack of posts.
Open Studio's is looming large on the horizon, (starts May17th), so I'm thrashing the canvas' all day and into the evening.
I'm trying to do several pieces at once, but still have to organise the invitations to the private view, not to mention finishing off a ten foot high collaborative installation for another show in July, and two, metre square pieces for a show in Norwich at the end of June.
Relaxing all this art......................what you all up too ?

Glad to hear your keeping busy....my massage is slowly taking off :-)
Hey Sally, glad to hear it.
What did we decide RE the massage/portrait contra deal ?
Loving your work big man. A bit different this one.
I like the closed eyes, the mere hint of a smile.
Looking forward to Open Studios this year...
Hello Beachfreak, ta for the compliments.
I think it could be a good year, providing I can finish all that I want to.
Another great picture.
Wish I could draw or paint.
Currently, I am wishing I could write too.........
Picture the scene, a peaceful far off land, with waves gently lapping at the shore, and a bbq gently sizzling away - and the peace and tranquility broken by four weeks - count 'em, four weeks of a mother-in-law saying thngs like "don't they build their houses queer! I don't eat bbq!Oh,and...is Home and Away on yet!" Keep up the fantastic work mate, love to the family, and spare a thought for us much maligned son-in-laws!
Wow, wow and wow. Love this one. Worth the lack of posts me'thinks
Great. I love the colour of the hair, fantastic.
Glad to hear you have lots of work on too - that must be the challenge for any artist?
Sweary, sometimes I wish I could draw.......it gets away from me every now and then.
Photog, I'm sure I warned you about all this ?.......Maybe we had been drinking at the time......?
Many thanks Manic, I feel much better now. X
Travelling, I always have loads on, usually only a small amount is actually commissioned (and therefore 'paid for').
A good portion of my work is painted 'cos I feel the need, then I try and flog it later !
