.......just because I might be.
While sorting out some work for an upcoming exhibition, an away fixture incidentally, I realised that I'm a bit short of finished work.
The five pieces promised to the aforementioned show constitute about half of my current stock.
I do have several of the small nudes that I have posted recently, but somehow I have to finance frames for them.....maybe I'll sell something at the weekend.....not likely in mid February, but it could happen !

Thought I might panic today, as I amm preparing entry forms for 3 shows and getting in a muddle as to use what where????!!! Thats why I use box canvases now they are so cheap, so I dont have to rush out and spend money on frames at the last minute!!!
STUNNING, just stunning. I love this one....... Whate size is it?
Hi Joan, box canvases are good, but they won't fit in the box !!
Thank you MMoF, it's about 6"x8".
I've been watching the painting since I followed your link from W.I.T.N. -really like the work!
I have problems with framing- to frame, or not? Style, etc. Not to mention cost.
I considered a system of working on the same scale so I could chop and change pictures in frames- of course, if your work sells well you may not have the framed paintings in stock to do this!
Something will generally turn up, it usually does- I'm not being flippant, but the money, the answer, whatever generally does make itself apparent at the critical hour-
Or do yuo disagree?
Well, I do have a hat, and, with regular, more committed use may culture a more practical frame of mind, leaving more helpful comments.

Hello again Sarah, thanks for the compliments.
I work to three or four sizes, the largest of which are box canvases. Thus the biggest and most pricey to frame pieces don't get framed.
This pochade box I'm working with for the nudes, requires 8"x6" boards, so the frame size is common.
Love the nude! Beautiful. You are quite talented, Sugar.
Is it for sale?
Hello SV, I thank you.
MMoF, oh yes, they all are !
